The RSSI filter is filter beacons that far than the distance you chosen. Let’s say you change the filter to 10 meters, the receiver will filter out beacons > 10 meters.

Note: the distance filter is not accuracy.

Receiver will try its best to scan BLE device if default value is set. No filter.
